Just like when we teach our kids how to ride a bike, they will fall, have some setbacks and run into things. Sometimes they seem to be too scared or discouraged to try again. However, we encourage them to get up and keep trying. It is the same with our spiritual life. As parents, we might feel like we are not progressing our spiritual life, therefore not helping our family get closer to God. However, God is always inviting us to start fresh
and begin again. Every new day is a gift from God that motivates us to keep trying. I must give credit to Phillip Rivers (NFL/Chargers) for sparking my interest on the phrase Nunc Coepi, (Now I Begin). I found a great series to subscribe to at GoodCatholic.com which helped me appreciate this phrase commonly used as a motto by saints.
